United States
Sunbeam is based in Lucknow, India. We work remotely with US companies that want an engineering partner for a product slice, an internal system, an automation, a knowledge tool or a website. We do not have a US office or a US entity. The honest constraint is the clock: an East Coast morning can meet a Lucknow evening for a short call, and a Pacific day cannot. We design the engagement around that, instead of pretending the countries share a workday.
Served remotely from Lucknow. Overlap depends on your US time zone. No US office.
The market
Companies in the United States look to India for engineering capacity, and they have seen both careful partners and opaque vendors. What we can offer is a small studio that will take a bounded problem, work in your repository, and write down what it decided. What we cannot offer is a room full of people on your hours, a domestic contracting entity, or same-day live support across every US time zone.
The work that fits is specific. A founder wants an MVP that tests one assumption and can be extended. A product team wants a workflow built beside their own engineers. An operations lead wants an internal tool because the spreadsheet has become a liability. A support or delivery team wants answers drawn from documents they already maintain, with a person still responsible for what the customer is told.
If your users are in several US time zones, say so at the start. We will not schedule as if the company lives in one city. The collaboration plan follows the time zone of the people who make decisions, and the product itself follows the time zones of the people who use it.
Time overlap
India is on India Standard Time, UTC+5:30, all year. The United States observes daylight saving in most states, so the gap changes by an hour in March and November. Arizona, and Hawaii, do not follow that shift. We set the standing call from the zone you actually work in, and we revisit it when US clocks change.
In winter, 8:00 to 10:30 US Eastern is 18:30 to 21:00 in Lucknow. In summer, when the East Coast is on daylight saving time, 8:00 to 11:00 Eastern is 17:30 to 20:30 in Lucknow. That is a short evening window for us and a morning window for you. Central time pushes the same call an hour later in India. In winter, 8:00 Pacific is 21:30 in Lucknow, which is too late to be a routine meeting. Pacific collaborations are asynchronous: written updates, recorded walkthroughs, and an occasional planned call rather than a shared workday.
Use the morning slot for decisions that are blocked. Send the material the previous US afternoon so the Lucknow evening is a conversation, not a first reading.
Assume async. A weekly decision call can be planned. Daily live stand-ups on Pacific hours are a bad operating model for a team in India, and we will not agree to them as the default.
Remote delivery
A US engagement fails when the only source of truth is a call you missed. We write the scope, the open questions and the changelog so a product owner can steer the work at the start of their day.
We join your repository, your cloud account and your tracker. You should be able to revoke our access in an afternoon and still have the work.
The overlap call has an agenda of unresolved choices. What shipped is in the written update. We will not spend the only shared half hour reading a board aloud.
US privacy duties vary by state. If California's rules or a customer contract constrain hosting, retention or subprocessors, your counsel should say so. We implement the technical side of those instructions. We do not provide legal advice.
Services that fit
Hire us for a slice you can describe. These four areas are the studio's work. The time zone makes a tight scope more important, not less.
MVPs, SaaS slices and web applications where the first release has to teach you something. We would rather ship a small product your users can touch than a platform diagram. Marketing sites are in scope when the story and the product need to be built together.
Internal tools, dashboards and CRMs for operations that have outgrown the stack of SaaS tabs. We map the decision the tool must support, then build the smallest system that supports it inside accounts you own.
Integrations and AI workflows with an evaluation step. US product teams are right to ask how a model is checked. We define the cases, the review, and what the system does when it is unsure, before we wire it to a customer.
Support and delivery teams sitting on a corpus of docs, tickets and policies. A source-backed assistant is useful. A general chatbot with your logo on it is not. We will only build the first, and only when you can maintain the corpus.
Lucknow is the studio. These services are available to clients here and anywhere else we work.
Local questions
No. We are based in Lucknow, India, and serve US teams remotely. We do not operate a US entity.
In winter, 8:00 to 10:30 US Eastern is 18:30 to 21:00 in Lucknow. In summer, 8:00 to 11:00 Eastern is 17:30 to 20:30 in Lucknow. Central time is an hour later in India. Pacific mornings fall late at night in Lucknow, so that relationship is asynchronous.
You receive written progress that does not depend on someone being online at midnight. Live calls sit in the overlap you actually have, and they are used to resolve decisions.
Yes. That is the default. You keep ownership of the code and the infrastructure.
A bounded product slice, an internal tool, an integration, an AI workflow with an evaluation step, or a technical review before a larger build.
No. If a state law or a contract sets rules for data, your counsel should specify them. We implement the technical constraints you give us.

Remote product and systems work for UK teams. The live window is a UK morning and a Lucknow afternoon. No UK office.
A Lucknow studio for Indian companies outside our city pages, and for overseas teams looking for a software development partner in India.
Remote delivery for Dubai and the wider UAE. The time difference is 1 hour 30 minutes, so most of the working day overlaps.
Remote engineering for Riyadh and the rest of Saudi Arabia, with a 2 hour 30 minute time difference and delivery in English.
