United Arab Emirates

Software engineering for Dubai and the UAE, from a studio in India.

Dubai is the commercial centre most international teams mean when they say the UAE. Abu Dhabi is the capital, and Sharjah and the other emirates have their own business communities. Sunbeam is based in Lucknow, India, and we serve UAE companies remotely. We do not have a Dubai office, an Abu Dhabi office, or a free-zone company. The reason to hire us is the engineering, the written scope, and a time zone that already covers most of your day.

Served remotely from Lucknow. Dubai is 1 hour 30 minutes behind India. No UAE office.

The market

Dubai buys software the way it buys operations: across borders.

UAE companies are used to vendors in other countries. Trading houses, professional-services firms, hospitality groups, real-estate businesses and regional headquarters already coordinate people in Dubai with suppliers and customers in India, the wider Gulf and Europe. A software partner in Lucknow is an extension of that pattern, and it only works if communication and ownership are clearer than a typical outsourcing hand-off.

The systems we see requested are concrete. A trading business wants one picture of an order as it moves between people and tools. A services firm wants enquiries to land in a record the whole team can see. A group with entities in more than one emirate wants a portal or a report that does not depend on a monthly spreadsheet. A company entering a market wants a site that explains the offer in English, and sometimes in Arabic, without looking assembled overnight.

English is the working language of most private-sector technology work in the UAE, and it is our delivery language. Arabic customer-facing copy is welcome in the product when you provide it and review it. We will build the interface to support that. We will not present ourselves as an Arabic content studio.

Time overlap

Most of a Dubai day is a Lucknow day.

The UAE uses Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4, with no daylight saving. India is 1 hour 30 minutes ahead, on UTC+5:30, also without daylight saving. The gap does not move during the year.

9:00 to 18:00 in Dubai is 10:30 to 19:30 in Lucknow. That is enough overlap to run discovery, reviews and a same-day question without scheduling anyone into the night. The weekend in the UAE is Saturday and Sunday, which matches ours. Live work goes in the overlap. Notes cover anything that appears after your office has closed and ours is still open for a short while, or the reverse at the start of your morning.

  • Same-day decisions

A question raised late morning in Dubai can be resolved before the end of the Lucknow afternoon. We keep a written trail so the decision is still visible the next day.

  • A short lead at each end

Your first hour and our last hour are the edges of the overlap. We avoid placing the only approval meeting in a slot where one side is routinely in traffic or already done for the day.

Remote delivery

How we work with a UAE team from Lucknow.

Remote here should feel like a disciplined vendor in another city, because that is what it is. You should know who is deciding, where the code lives, and what will be true at the end of the current slice.

Your accounts

Repository, cloud, domain and analytics stay in your company's name. We will not host your production system in an account you cannot administer.

Data location up front

We ask which region the workload should run in and who your advisers say must have access. The UAE has a federal personal-data law. Your counsel interprets it. We implement the hosting and access consequences.

One owner

Groups with several entities still need a single person who can accept a workflow decision. We will not collect conflicting instructions from each office and call that a requirement.

Services that fit

Services that fit the UAE.

Trading and multi-entity operations pull toward business systems. Market-facing companies also need the public product to be credible. Automation and knowledge tools are how the operation stays consistent after the first launch.

Automation, including AI

Lead routing, document handling and the sync between a CRM and the tools around it are the usual automations. AI fits a bounded task with a review step, especially where staff already spend the day rewriting the same information.

The wider practice

Lucknow is the studio. These services are available to clients here and anywhere else we work.

Do you work only with Indian-owned businesses in Dubai?

Yes, as an interface, when you supply and review the Arabic. Delivery conversations and specifications are in English.
